Your role: 

Licensing | Product Management | Sourcing:

  • Generate all monthly and quarterly sales reports for TUMI Retail and eCommerce Channels. Partner with merchandising and wholesale for additional analysis and reporting where needed.
  • Own SKU set-up process input style, color, costing, seasonal attribute information into the line planning system.
  • Partner with licensees to ensure season style attributes are accurate (including costing, product life cycle).
  • Participate in the line planning and development process with a strong understanding of the global market and channel unit specific needs/ nuances.
  • Assist in Line Presentation prep work (i.e. Put together style boards, line packets, and other information as necessary). 
  • Manage samples- Maintain lending log and coordinate sample/ photography set up for meetings.
  • Act as liaison to all facets of the business including Product Development, Design, Planning, Visual Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure deliverables and product lifecycle calendar deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate closely with licensees through the entire conceptual and development process to ensure teams are hitting development milestones.
  • Shop the market to stay abreast of trends. Compile competitive shopping analysis and present relevant conclusions. Incorporate findings to impact future product line development.
  • Maintain Product Change Log
  • Create Product Knowledge Sheets and Communication
  • Manage special projects and assist the PM
  • Adhere to product lifecycle calendar deadlines
  • Maintains all updates, communications, final approvals for all stages in the product lifecycle management.
  • Ensures all applicable salesman and wear test samples are received.
  • Ensure an appropriate room is booked for all approval meetings with licensee and design
  • Write up all product approval notes in the approved templates within contractual time frames and internal delivery deadlines, to ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Follow up with Licensees on next steps for additional approval rounds.

eCommerce | Wholesale:

  • Partner with Licensees to ensure that all PDP imagery submitted follows TUMI brand guidelines.
  • Spot check Licensee’s wholesale distribution channels to ensure consistent TUMI branding across any 3rd party websites.
  • Maintain Master Wholesale Account Tracker for all licensed businesses.
  • Ensure all PDP imagery appropriately highlights product features, and applicable Web Copy.

Marketing | VM | Customer Experience

  • Manage projects in Workfront process, ensuring that pr and creative teams adhere to Creative/ Feedback Timelines.
  • Coordinate advertising samples for seasonal brand Photoshoots, Special Projects, and Presentations.
  • Spot check licensee’s Social Media channels to ensure any TUMI posts are in the appropriate TUMI voice and any campaigns are leveraging approved content.
  • Collaborate with internal creative services team on developing and ensuring consistency with all licensee collateral needs. Maintain packaging library across active agreements.
  • Support Licensing Product Manager with updating and managing dates for each licensee’s brand marketing calendar.
  • Develop training guiders per product category and collection for use in Licensor’s distribution channels.

Collaborations | Special Projects

  • Partner with category specific APM and PM to ensure all IP references are consistent across SKU and Collection copy for training, retail, and eCommerce.
  • Ensure royalty rates are included with any SKU and SAP setup needs.
  • Ensure all PDP imagery adheres to any contractual requirements
  • Maintain global pricing charts to ensure global alignment and awareness for collaboration product.
