There is a reason why we have so many employees with 20+ years with the company-Pace offers careers. Here at B & C Division, we supply a large amount of parts for safety devices for automobiles. Our zinc die cast parts can be found in seat belts, door latches, and braking systems! Attention to detail is a must and every part is important because your family and friends are depending on you to keep them safe every day! The day to day duties of a Die Cast Operator include: Operating a Die Cast Machine includes – understanding the basic function of the process, proving proper care of die cast machines, die setup, recognition and control of basic casting defects, operating the machine in a safe way. You will be responsible for checking the quality of the parts as well as keeping up with production quotas. You will use calipers, thread check gauges and/or other quality checking fixtures - (Don't worry, we will train you on this!) Forklift experience a plus, but not required. Die cast operators will also operate trim press machines as require by production needs. This is what it takes to be a Pace Associate: Good attendance -You have an important job and we need you here on your scheduled days. Industrial athlete-You will be active by standing, lifting and moving around and working in hot temperatures – good thing Winter is coming soon! Attention to details and instructions to make a quality part – Remember your family and friends are depending on you to keep them safe! Mechanical aptitude to operate machines and equipment (Die cast machine, trim presses) Make production rates to get parts to our customers on time - I told you it was an important job! Be safe- Safety is a 24/7 commitment at Pace. We want you going home to your family each day with all your fingers and toes! Work Hours:  We work 4/10 shifts! (Hello 3-day weekends!) 1st Shift – Monday through Thursday 6:00am – 4:00pm 2nd Shift – Monday through Thursday 3:45pm – 1:45am 20-minute lunch and two 10 minute breaks Benefits: Vacation pay, 11 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K, short term and long-term disability, life insurance, and health savings account that Pace helps fund.
