Position: Manager I, Technical Project Management

Job Location: 508 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712

Duties: Develops project management practices by adhering to the principles of the Global eCommerce (GEC) project management methodologies (for example, Agile); evangelizing principles and business value of the methodologies throughout the organization; contributing to the development and evolution of the GEC methodologies; and building effective partnerships with the development managers, architects, and product managers. Manages multiple, medium complex eCommerce projects (for example, software development, infrastructure) with external stakeholders (for example, third-party vendors, Information System Division (ISD), Store Innovations) by driving projects through the lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined in project's charter; serving as the project team lead (for example, scrum master); managing project budget; developing and maintaining a project schedule to track milestones; developing and executing plans for managing risk; providing updates and communicating needed changes to project budget; escalating project-related issues to management according to project guidelines; providing project status reports to stakeholders and management; managing project change control processes; coordinating production issue resolution; and interpreting data to help guide teams towards issue resolution and risk management. Manages offshore development teams and third-party vendors (for example, software vendors, hardware vendors, photo vendors, content providers) by coordinating internal and vendor schedules; integrating teams and vendors into project strategy; communicating project status; ensuring delivery of proper functionality; and managing communications from vendors to internal stakeholders. Provides project-related support to project teams by developing project resource plans; determining business readiness for project implementation; managing individual project scope items or activities as part of larger scale projects; managing project budget; and partnering with project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in technical program management or related field; OR 5 years of experience in technical program management or related field.

Skills Required: Must have experience with: Managing and handling multiple functional and service-oriented projects simultaneously to deliver efficient Project Management; Analyzing business level decisions, requirements to perform efficient business analysis and produce requirement documents like Business Requirement Document (BRD), Functional Requirement Document (FRD) to develop and deliver effective product requirements; Building and preparing wireframes, mockups and developed prototypes for the new UI and application revamp; Building and presenting project reports & statistics with help of visualization & project management tools like Tableau, Jira, Confluence; Preparing and communicating Release & Deployment related information to the business units & personnel for active & regular updates; Writing and documenting the test cases, scenarios to automate the functional test suite of the applications; Acting as the Agile mentor, mentored & guided the teams to understand & learn agile principles and methodologies so to move the projects towards successful & efficient completion; Gathering vague & high-level requirements, analyzed & converted to developer understandable low level technical requirements to get started & proceed with development; Receiving alerts and reports from the application users through Service Now and resolved within the provided stipulated SLAs and communicated the root causes and notices; Applying Supply Chain & Agile six sigma principles to increase the production rate of designed CATIA and Solidworks models; Preparing and running mild to complex SQL queries to fetch, extract the business requested statistics, information and to understand root causes to the reported issues/bugs.
