Job Summary:

This role will take part in strategic projects, long term financial planning and business transformation efforts within the Americas region. This role will work closely across the region brand and functional P&Ls to evaluate financial risks and opportunities to short term and long term financial targets. It will also support the region FP&A team with building long term financial planning across all brands and functions. The role will be responsible for working with the broader finance teams to identify process efficiencies. The Finance Analyst will need to understand the mechanics of the P&L and will be involved in building annual budgets, forecast updates and variance analyses.

Key Accountabilities:

* Assist with the Business Transformation Month end close and forecast process and ensure transparent reporting of actual results
* Continuously review and enhance business processes to support current and future business efficiency objectives
* Assist with long term strategic multi-year financial plan
* Assist with requests from Tokyo HQ involving strategic and business transformation project spend impacting the region
* Assist with creation of robust business models for key strategic region initiatives including any potential acquisition/divestiture opportunities
* Support any divestiture related transition services agreements
* Assist in projects that will improve current business model and strategies
* Other projects as requested by management

Job Qualifications:

* College degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management required
* 2+ years of financial experience with increasing roles of responsibility; preferably in the prestige cosmetics industry or CPG
* Excellent analytic and computer skills, strong communication ability
* Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Cognos, SAP + BPC experience preferred
* Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
* Comfort in providing appropriate challenge/pushback and feedback
* Ability to work under pressure of tight deadline and to multitask
* Ability to work collaboratively and build positive and effective business partnerships
* Ability to successfully manage change and deal with ambiguous situations
* Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, changing environment
* Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

$69,864 - $104,796/ year
