The Call Center Pharmacy Technician will primarily be responsible for making consumer outbound calls, answering inbound calls, and providing administrative support to the Clinical Services Manager.
Ideal candidate has experience problem solving issues, call center experience and an eagerness to help the consumer.
Position is in a call center / cubicle environment.
An outgoing and friendly personality is required to provide special care to our consumers.
Candidates MUST have Pharmacy Technician License for Ohio. A PTCB certification is a PLUS.
Hours are M-F / 8-5 and includes benefits ! No evening or weekend work. 8 Paid holidays and 18 PTO days first year of employment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide various consumer outbound telephonic services to support Genoa’s clinical programs, including but not limited to the following:
- Interviewing and documenting consumer specific information within electronic databases
- Evaluating medication compliance focusing on consumer retention
- Make outbound calls to providers and pharmacies as necessary
- Promptly receive and respond to inbound calls or voicemails from consumers, case/care managers, providers, and pharmacies.
- Ensure all tasks completed accurately and in a consumer-first manner
- Professionally manage and resolve difficult situations involving consumers
- Act as an effective liaison between consumers, business partners, and Genoa pharmacy sites
- Meet departmental quality and productivity expectations reliably and consistently
- Assist in training new call center pharmacy technicians to the Clinical Services team as needed
- Perform other duties or special projects as needed
Basic Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Current Ohio State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to work in an office environment independently and within a team
- Possess problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to prioritize and organize a variety of concurrent tasks/projects
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively and in a professional manner with diverse populations, cultures and interest groups
- Ability to empathize with consumers and advocate for them effectively
- Protects consumer information in accordance with state and federal Pharmacy laws including HIPAA law and Corporation standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior pharmacy call center experience
- National PTCB certification
- Fluent in Spanish
- Prior Medicare Part D and Medicaid experience
