What Youll Do:

As a Sales Executive at Friday Health Plans, you will represent our organization to brokers and individuals in order to achieve forecasted goals. Maintain and support a culture of compliance, ethics & integrity. Maintain knowledge of policies & procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for demonstrating & teaching brokers Friday Health Plans online technology

  • Performs new enrollment activities including education

  • Assists Senior Sales Executive, Sales Manager, and the Director of Markets with current and future sales initiatives

  • Respond to emails and phone calls from brokers and members

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Broker Support and Customer Service teams

  • Gather information for all renewals by month

  • Promotes & sells individual health plans; manages new individual sales activity to achieve sales goals

  • Creates credibility w/ account contacts by demonstrating knowledge of each purchaser's unique benefit package & builds awareness about added services

  • Strategically builds new & leverages established broker relationships to increase prospect & sales opportunities

  • Consults w/ brokers & purchasers to demonstrate value

  • Joins and actively participates in relevant industry associations, such as the Health Underwriters.

  • Tracks activity in order to measure new business success rates and retention rates

  • Stay up to date on all government regulations for both local and national levels

  • Responsible for understanding ICHRA & partnering with TPAs

  • Assist in researching competitor data

  • Attend community events as needed

  • Identify, partner, and attend community events with local brokers

  • Other duties as assigned

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Well-versed in individual health insurance products in the TX market

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in the marketplace, conducting sales activities & meeting sales objectives

  • Ability to organize & conduct sales presentations w/ outside business partners to promote individual sales

  • Substantial knowledge in the health care industry to include health insurance rules, regulations & compliance

  • Effective negotiation, verbal & written communication skills

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business development, or another related field. Experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing

  • Active Texas Life and Health License or able to obtain license within 30 days of hire

  • SalesForce experience is preferred
