Warehouse - Night Wrapper
PAY RATE: $16.50/H

Summary: This position reports to the Night Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for manuallywrapping pallets, operation the wrapping machine, ensuring labels are on andensure the correct pallets

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to otherdesignated areas.

2. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.

3. Marks materials with identifying information.

4. Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers by location.

5. Wrapping pallets for 8-hour shift

6. Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates and organize for pickup.

7. Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business needs.

8. High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical

9. Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs, materials handled vary

10. Wrap pallets with pallet wrap machine.

11. Ensure plastic is tight to ensure a quality haul.

12. Clean surrounding area of work to ensure a clean workspace.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three monthsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, andmemos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information inone-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employeesof the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money andweight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved writtenor oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concretevariables in standardized situations.
