Director – Samsung Home Entertainment Division




  • Leads, coaches, guides, advises, mentors, recruits, and develops a remote team of Field Operations Managers that supervise team members to drive sales, increase category share, increase brand awareness, and influence market share and mind-share for the client in a tactical environment
  • Strategize with executive leadership on program ROI, and implements new and emerging growth initiatives that meet or exceed contract requirements
  • Serves as the primary, dedicated, expert for successful performance in client service, retention, and long-term business growth and development
  • Acts as liaison between executive leadership/client executives, field management, and retailers by overseeing divisional and regional activities with deliverables, promotions, and other processes or assignments
  • Partners with client executives serving as an expert in retail sales to achieve measurable success
  • Develops and maintains positive, professional, collaborative relationships with clients, external retailers, and key stakeholders ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and program growth
  • Partners with analytics to understand sales trends and drivers and digs into root causes to improve sales in collaboration with executive client partners
  • Establishes and maintains executive client and corporate level relationships and leverages those relationships to foster increased program-wide sales and future opportunities
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures with all staff and categories
  • Constructs and maintains annual operational plans
  • Creates, manages, and holds team members accountable for divisional and regional budgets within policy parameters
  • Uses rigid ethical considerations to guide decisions and act in accordance with Company values
  • Exhibits exceptional skills in client relationships, analysis, accountability, and leadership
  • Champions employee development through human resources partnerships and initiatives, while continually reducing attrition


  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing managers and large scale field sales teams required
  • Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in Business, Marketing, or similar field of study. Master’s degree highly desired
  • Minimum ten years’ management experience in retail, retail operations, retail distribution, merchandising, sales, marketing, consumer electronics, mobile sales and service organizations required
  • Minimum seven years Account/Client/Project Management experience required
  • Prior field sales and field product training experience required
  • Understanding of retail field programs with shared and/or dedicated resources and retail sales incentive programs required
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills required
  • Evidence of forward-thinking, problem solving, multi-tasking, detail oriented, analytical behaviors required
  • Highly skilled in MS Excel and all other MS Office Products
  • Proficiency in Google docs, sheets, and slides required
  • Exhibits exceptional skills in client relationships, analysis, accountability, and leadership
