Positions in Pediatric Hospital Medicine in BIG 12 CITY
Our hospital medicine division is comprised of 11 pediatric hospital medicine physicians. We provide coverage for inpatient pediatric services at Covenant Children's Hospital, University Medical Center Childrens Hospital, and Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital.
As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you can expect:
- To act as the primary admitting team for many of our pediatric subspecialists
- To participate in co-management with surgical specialists at each of our hospital sites
- To provide sedation service at Covenant Childrens for children undoing procedures or sedated imaging
- Work 7 on 7 off with 24-hour evening call from home with flexibility
- Build in Administrative time
- To work closely with medical school and pediatric residency programs providing oversight on inpatient rotations, education in hospital medicine, and mentorship
- Participate in additional shift options at the High-Risk Newborn Clinic
We have a well-established, accredited PHM fellowship program with one fellow each year.

- Freestanding childrens hospital CEO

- Pediatrics clerkship director
- Leaders in quality improvement and health information technology at our clinical sites.
