Our client is a state of the art manufacturer servicing major industries including electronics, military, biomedicine, and aerospace. We have been retained to identify an Accounting Manager that will assist and report directly to the CFO/Regional Controller. This role will manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, cost accounting, and month end close, and will provide various financial reports to management.This position offers HIGHLY competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance, 10% bonus, and paid time off.
Direct month-end close and review reconciliations prepared by others related to fixed assets and depreciation, revenue and expense accruals, and bank reconciliations
Manage the day to day general ledger accounting and oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
Lead all cash management and treasury functions
Inventory analysis, reconciliation, and JE posting
Income tax provision and prepaid/liability reconciliations
Analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts for reasonableness
Review of cycle count results
Provide supporting documentation for year-end auditors including confirmations
Mentor staff accountant to assist with GL analysis during month-end close
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
10 years of accounting experience; 5 years as an Accounting Manager
