Remote Staff Account Position - Up to $60,000

Anderson Frank, the world's leading NetSuite recruitment agency and our client are looking for a NetSuite savvy accountant for fully remote staff accountant position. They're based out of Maryland, but you could be anywhere in the country. They are small but work hard. They need someone to handle the day to day tasks and who is excited to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable, including vendor set up and maintenance, entering bills as received, and making sure ad hoc expenses are set up for payment.
• Accounts Receivable, preparing and sending customer invoices that match customer POs and change orders.
• Categorizing downloaded bank and credit card transactions, most of which include assigning projects to the transactions.
• Inputting payroll journal entries and other accrual journal entries as needed.
• Assist with closing at month-end.
• Track fixed assets and save copies of fixed asset receipts.
• Other back-office support as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong academic performance, minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5.
• Proven team player and ability to work independently while managing multiple project assignments.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and takes ownership of tasks.
• Highly responsive, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Oracle NetSuite proficiency is a plus.
