We have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Global Brand Director in our Hematology Franchise of the Oncology Business Unit (OBU). This role, reporting into the Global Commercial Head for the Haematology Franchise, helps lead the implementation of the global strategic brand plans for Haematology across indications. Hematology is one of the most innovative and most competitive research and development areas in Oncology and as a Brand Director you will be responsible for driving key components of the brand strategy and customer engagement as well as their implementation at the global level. The position is an opportunity to define the future of AstraZeneca's product(s) which will continue to revolutionize the treatment paradigm for cancer patients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Accountable for leadership and development of global commercial strategy
* Accountable for engaging with OBU countries and regions and to ensure launch readiness / commercial excellence
* Develops and implements global activities for pre-launch & post-launch including speaker bureau, disease awareness, launch preparation plans, etc.
* Develop and lead HCP marketing strategies and deliverables in partnership with markets, shaping and advancing plans for optimizing the HCP experience, including peer-to-peer activities
* Engage with cross-functional team including medical affairs, insights, market access, and others to execute on key brand priorities
* Responsible for assessing global brand performance
Essential requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science subject
* Experience in Oncology marketing with launch experience preferred
* Broad global commercial experience including pre-launch and launch
* Strong strategic thinking, judgement and influencing skills, to influence and lead across local markets to ensure strong executional commercial focus
* Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payors, and providers
* Effective in working with medical affairs and promotional affairs stakeholders delivering highest quality initiatives to AZ promotional standards
* Proven senior commercial track record: focus, resource securing, and deployment
* Evidence of developing compelling business cases
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy
