Full Stack Developer - Remote job in Miamisburg at Smart Data

As a full stack developer with our client, the ideal candidate will have 3+ years of working experience in a fast-paced environment with technologies such as .Net, Angular and SQL.  The right person must recommend, own, and implement technology practices to develop in-house best in class applications. Design and coordinate integration between different kinds of software. The candidate in this position must have quality, application scale and application performance at the top of the priority and take a key role in implementing relevant practices. The ideal consultant will have previously served as a key contributor on a large scale platform redesign and have experience in retiring legacy platforms and replacing with innovative solutions.  This role will be remote, working on an agile team.  You will be a member of a critical project dedicated to the design, development and delivery of a new platform solution.  This will will work with modern tools such as .Net Core, Angular and SQL. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for new technology and thrives on learning new things.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

“Must-have” technologies:

• 3+ years of experience working with latest full stack frameworks with emphasis on .Net, .Net Core, Angular and SQL
• Extremely comfortable querying a database using SQL
• 3+ years’ experience developing API/web services using REST
• 3+ years’ experience developing with Object Oriented development languages (such as .net, C#, java)

• Full Stack development including design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting of software solutions

• Comfortable in an agile team, sizing stories, planning and retrospectives
• Collaborate with fellow team members, project management and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with team for unit testing, continuous integration practices, code reviews/pair programming, internal tool usage, technical roadblock mitigation and process improvements
• Works with internal business units to align software design
• Communicates and works with SCRUM team on estimates and daily progress
• Ensure delivery of stable, scalable, maintainable, and highly available software
• Responsible for adhering to coding standards and approved technologies
• Support agile development / SCRUM practices Follow SDLC processes in executing software development projects.
