As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will supervise the Sales Tax compliance for all companies within the consolidated group.
From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.
•Supervise the preparation of all domestic sales tax returns
•Research various different sales tax matters for US Domestic issues
•Prepare sales tax registrations as needed
•Supervise sales tax audits
•Review and maintain current and accurate sales tax exemption certificates from customers
•Determine the taxability of certain SKUs sold by ePlus
•Complete special tax projects as needed
•Provide assistance with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
•Develop good working relationships with business units and accounting peers to effectively and efficiently complete tax projects and to identify sales tax issues
•Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of sales tax laws and regulations
•Maintain a current awareness and understanding of and to fully comply with the company's code of ethics, independence rules and quality control practices

•Demonstrate initiative, be hard-working, be a self-starter
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax
•5 + years applicable work experience in tax related areas
Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally.
