Description

Position Title: Business Systems Analyst Department: Information Technology Position Reports to: Director of Business Systems Automation, BI & Reporting Position Supervises: No Direct Reports

Position Summary:

Responsible for core processing support for business units; efficiently and effectively fulfilling business objectives; Researches and troubleshoots system features for best outcomes for servicing both internal and external customers; Oversees implementations, upgrades and interfaces; Designs transaction workflows for user front-end application and Cohesion; Responsible for corporate core processing training for releases, year-end and regulatory system changes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors and disseminates information within bulletins, articles and documentation received from the core-processing vendor. Participates in round-tables, forums and user groups. Analyze results, make recommendations for support process improvement and implement changes.

Field incoming work orders to resolve application and software issues within the core processor, front-end, ancillaries, external and internally developed software.

Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.

Recommend, develop curriculum and instruct training for end-users for core-processing, front end and ancillary software usage.

Configure, maintain and monitor Output Solutions and COLD report delivery, archival and distribution.

Participate in corporate projects for technical advisement, software efficiency and core-processing impact.

Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes.

Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.

Other duties as assigned.

Education, Certification, License and Experience:

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or five or more years equivalent work experience. Financial Core Processing experience a must.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (v2010-2016) with emphasis on Excel formulas and macros and MS Access Query Builder; Knowledge of Electronic Document Storage; Technical writing skills; SAP Crystal Reports, Hyland OnBase, and SQL Query Analyzer, a plus

Skills and Knowledge:

In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with core-processing systems and financial software applications.

Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.

Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.

Familiarity with banking products and development strategies.

Experience with report writer applications. Crystal Reports preferred. SQL Query Analyzer, Hyland OnBase a plus.

Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering rules, Right to Financial Privacy, Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and other laws and regulations as they pertain to the position.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements .

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear, stand or sit for long periods of time, open filing cabinets, walk, stoop or bend, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and complete tasks requiring manual dexterity. Ability to drive a vehicle for travel is required for the position.
