Senior Pricing Associate - (3550) with Security Clearance
General duties include analyzing cost proposals from contractors to ensure they are complete, accurate, and reasonable; Conducting audits of contractor cost records to verify the accuracy of pricing information; Negotiating contract prices with contractors to ensure the DoD receives the best value for its money; Preparing, reports and presentations to communicate pricing analysis findings to stakeholders; Maintaining up-to-date on changes in DoD acquisition regulations and policies; Collaboration with other government personnel, including contracting officers, program managers, and engineers; Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve project goals
Specific Duties:
• Pricing Mission Support Products: Must have experience to produce quality products that may include, but are not limited to the following outputs: Sole Source: Price negotiation memorandums, clearance slides, Excel files; Competitive Proposals: Excel Files, Evaluation Write-Ups, Analysis Reports; Reviews: Comments matrix, Recommended Language; and Training: Presentation Slides
• Proposal Analysis Support: Must have experience to analyze cost proposals, recommend solutions for a wide array of complex pricing problems, and prepare write-ups (e.g., narratives, presentation slides, Excel outputs) in preparation for various approvals (e.g., contract clearance); Perform the proposal evaluation in accordance with the FAR, DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), DAFFARS, and other applicable policies and procedures by the negotiated time frame established between the A&AS Contractor and the Government
The analyses may involve (but are not limited to) the following: Price Analysis, Contract-Type Analysis, Business Practice Analysis, Cost Analysis, Parametric Estimating, Profit/Fee/Incentive Analysis, Value Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis (e.g., performance-based payments), Contract Audit Recommendations, Cost Principles Cost , Realism Analysis, Make-or-Buy Analysis, Pricing Clauses, EPA Arrangements, and Escalation Indices
• Project Support: Provide project support as determined by the Division Chief, defined as all product outputs required in support of the pricing mission that is the responsibility of the SSC/PKF office and is NOT part of the proposal already assigned to the A&AS Contractor
Provide reviews of solicitations focused on pricing and profit/fee/incentive instructions necessary for the pricing evaluations
Training, advice, and reviews associated with tasks in this paragraph will be limited to the non-A&AS environment
Minimum Education & Certification(s): BA/BS Degree Required, MA/MS Preferred, Minimum Yrs
Experience and/or Expertise: 10+ Years' Experience Required, SSC/PKF Pricing Corner, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams experience highly desired Clearance: Secret Salary information below is a general guide only
Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations
Salary Range: $140,000-190,000 WORK, PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing maybe required
This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism
