The District Manager serves as the chief administrator of a district office in the Kalamazoo County Office within the Department of Health and Human Services. As District Manager, the position is responsible for the implementation and efficient operation of an array of financial assistance and child welfare programs, as established within the department under federal, state and county authority

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.


Social Services Division Administrator 17

Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Equitable Classification Plan (ECP) Group Three manager.

Additional Requirements and Information

This position is open to all applicants.

The office location for this position is at 427 E. Alcott Street, Kalamazoo MI, 49001 however, this position has the ability to work hybrid (remote/office). Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or work hybrid must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
