Mosquito Joe provides services to make outside fun again for our customers
We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks and fleas
Our technicians are trained mosquito control experts who travel to our clients properties to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yard mosquito-free for up to 21 days, or install misting systems, which offer a more permanent solution
We also provide services for special events to keep guests chatting and laughing instead of scratching and slapping

Job Description

The Mosquito Joe Technician job is a seasonal position taking place during the active mosquito spray season, typically from March through November
Typical spraying/work hours range between 7am - 7pm, Monday - Saturday
The number of hours worked per week varies by technician and may be anywhere from 25-50 hours, depending on technician preference and availability


Technicians spray customers' property according to the Mosquito Joe policies and procedures
They are knowledgeable of all Mosquito Joe services and policies and fully communicate to customers the expectations, procedures and tips applicable to the service being provided


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests
• Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
• Maintain good customer relationships
• Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
• Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles
• Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
• Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs
  for long periods of time in warm temperatures
• Comfortable driving to customer locations
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
• Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service

Education and Experience

• Valid and current certification/license as required by the state for the commercial application of pesticides (The Company will pay for the certification/licensing during initial training)
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
