The Global Alliances and Ecosystems Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) team is seeking an Assistant Director to manage and implement co-marketing plans, communications, and key branding initiatives together with our Global Alliance Partners.

The successful candidate will be well versed in the nuances of global partner marketing at all stages of go-to-market maturity, with a track record of building and bringing to life successful integrated marketing campaigns and programs which drive brand distinction, mindshare, and preference.

To be successful in this role, you will be a natural relationship builder and dot connector, with the skills to proactively plan and deliver upon global marketing strategies in the technology realm. You believe in the significance of Alliances and Ecosystem partnership models and understand the power of bringing together global brands for a common purpose, with the ability to quickly navigate the complexities of marketing with alliance partners for achieving brand eminence, audience awareness and business growth.

The opportunity

You will work collaboratively with the Alliances go-to-market teams, Alliance BMC leadership and BMC colleagues to ensure we plan and deliver on global marketing priorities. You are detail-oriented and organized, self-driven and

capable of delivering upon multiple marketing projects at once, while being comfortable with ambiguity and change management.

Success in this role will be assisting in the delivery of comprehensive, world-class marketing and communications programs (internal and external) which deliver sustainable, measurable results. Achievements will be measured through EYs global brand survey, program usage and engagement, as well as influence on pipeline and key marketing metrics.

Your key responsibilities

  • Proactively assist with the development and execution of high impact joint marketing campaigns and programs across relevant EY Brand and Marketing Communications (BMC) teams to drive audience awareness and engagement together with designated partners global go-to-market priorities

  • Collaborate and consult across BMC and the alliances and ecosystem teams to build upon proper campaign strategies which drive awareness and inclusion in relevant programs

  • Support the creation, socialization, execution, governance, and measurement of joint digital marketing campaigns with key alliances according to EY protocol

  • Seamlessly develop and execute high impact, creative campaign programs and assets that leverage a variety of marketing channels (including but not limited to virtual and global flagship events, webcasts, video, PR/media relations, social media, digital properties ey.com, alliance site presence, internal EY sites)

  • Establish and nurture key relationships while maintaining close collaboration with Alliance team stakeholders, agency partners, and colleagues across Service Lines, Industries, Areas and Regions.

  • Work cross functionally to champion the alliance partner co-branding and positioning in significant announcements and launches

  • Ensure budget management of all marketing spend

  • Provide reporting metrics and marketing analytics against all marketing campaigns and programs

Skills and attributes for success

  • 5+ years previous marketing experience successfully delivering projects at speed and scale within a highly matrixed enterprise environment

  • Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders while executing upon global marketing strategies

  • Comfortable in the technology marketing space

  • A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently

  • A thorough understanding of marketing channels and delivery principles for achieving alliance marketing objectives including events, video, PR/media relations, social media, and digital programs

  • Excellent communication and networking skills able to effectively manage and influence senior leaders as well as a broad range of internal and client facing professionals

  • Strong writing and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling messages

  • Willingness to bring purposeful ideas forward and to life

  • Executive presence

  • Sense of humor

  • Ability to work in a high pace environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively

Ideally, youll also have

  • Experience executing high level, B2B integrated content marketing campaigns with substantial background in professional services in the technology sector

  • Good understanding of the EY business, key stakeholders and influencers

  • Experience working with senior leadership

  • Experience building creative and media strategies and working with external agencies and vendors

  • Experience successfully managing and delivering multiple complex projects at a global level

  • Experience with the use of a variety of digital channels to deliver initiatives to targeted audiences

  • Experience managing diverse teams

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Previous partner marketing experience is a plus

  • Previous internal communications experience is a plus

  • Availability for US and occasionally global travel

  • High level of influencing and networking skills
