Job Description

A growing, progressive electrical contractor located in Seattle, has one opening for a Senior Estimator. While the focus of this position is estimating, sales, and business development, there is an opportunity for the right person in this position to grow into a leadership position within the company. The primary activities of this position are in the local market - providing excellent customer service and growing the sales of both existing customers and new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business development - develop new customers and new sales opportunities.
  • Actively sell and complete estimates on new projects.
  • Act as project manager on projects as appropriate.
  • Achieve financial, marketing, production, and other goals as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in the estimator/sales role with a track record of successfully closing in excess of $2.0 MM of profitable jobs per year.
  • Electrical field experience a plus but not required.
  • Clear understanding of the NEC and WAC as it applies to our industry.
  • Advanced to expert skill level with Accubid.
  • Must be driven to exceed customer expectations.
  • Good driving record
