**Job Summary**

The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics department encourages applications for an Assistant Director of Compliance! This position will assist the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance with the day-to-day operations of the comprehensive NCAA, Pac-12 Conference and University Athletics compliance program, focusing on rules education and monitoring.This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department's Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion. **What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**

**_Rules Education:_**

+ Maintain and continually develop the comprehensive NCAA rules education program for CU-Boulder student-athletes, departmental staff members, CU donors, and campus constituents, at the direction of the Associate AD for Compliance.

+ Distribute educational information via newsletters, social media, presentations, and other creative outlets. Coordinate game day educational efforts, implement a distribution plan for CU's facilities targeting those fans and donors in attendance. Implement a Championship and Bowl Season rules education and monitoring program. Build the Office of Compliance Services relationships with donors and expand the educational outreach for that group. Apply NCAA legislative knowledge to build new educational materials and presentations. Train student interns and supervise during rules education distribution.

+ Manage the Office of Compliance Services social media accounts and social media outreach.

+ Assist the Associate Director of Compliance with beginning of the year and end of the year compliance meetings and other roster meetings.

**_Monitoring:_**

+ Manage the day to day operation of Bylaw 17 monitoring including, but not limited to, playing and practice season declarations and the review of CARA logs and time management plans. Manage Teamwork and serve as the point of contact for coaches and staff. Assist with complimentary admissions, campus visit monitoring, and student-athlete awards.

**_Elite Student Athletes and Agents:_**

+ Serve as the point of contact for athlete agents and professional organizations. Manage programming for elite student-athlete education and monitoring. Assist the Associate AD with the Exceptional Student-Athlete Insurance Program.

**_Sports Wagering:_**

+ Create and maintain sports wagering monitoring systems and educational systems for student-athletes, coaches, staff, and external constituents. Assist the Senior Associate AD with legislative collaboration, safeguard implementation and integrity planning.

**What You Should Know**

+ This position works 100% from campus. The schedule is 8:00- 5:00pm, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and event attendance.

+ All University of Colorado Boulder employees are required to comply with the campus COVID-19 vaccine requirement . New employees must provide proof of vaccination or receive a medical or religious exemption within 30 days of employment.

**What We Can Offer**

+ The salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

+ Additional Compensation Details:

+ Relocation is available within department guidelines.

**What We Require**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will substitute on a year for year basis.

+ Minimum one year NCAA Division I compliance experience.

**What You Will Need**

+ Must have excellent organizational skills, strong digital literacy and attention to detail.

+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Familiarity with public speaking and delivering educational presentations.

+ Must be self-motivated.
