The IT Security Senior Engineer functions include day-to-day operations of the security solutions (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and the identification, investigation, and resolution of security incidents detected by those systems. This role will help establish new security standards, architectural standards and design secure solutions. Secondary tasks will include the development and/or implementation of security solutions, which fit into the security architecture.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security, engineering, network, or related field
- Minimum 5 years security experience
- Extensive experience with information security principles and practices to include, but not limited to, the following areas: Vulnerability Scanning; Security Information and Event Management; Next Generation Firewalls; Network Intrusion; Host Based Security; SIEM; Data Loss Prevention; Malware Prevention
- Industry Certification (GCIH, GCIA, GMON, GFNA, CISSP, GSE, etc.) preferred
