What You Will Do As the mission at LANLs TA-55 Nuclear Facility continues to expand, planning needs for construction activities are increasing. As such, we are looking for a person to manage Construction Planning who has excellent customer service skills, is energetic, enjoys working with people, and would be excited about helping plan for the installation of new systems and equipment at TA-55. The TA-55 Planning Manager 3 is responsible for managing planning activities in support of executing maintenance, modifications, and construction projects at TA-55. This position will manage planning activities taking place at TA-55 and TA-3-261. The selected candidate will perform as the Work Planning Team Leader for corrective maintenance, modifications, and construction planning. Reporting to the FOD1 Maintenance Manager and Deputy the candidate will function as a key member of the TA55 Planning Team. This position will also directly support various ALDPI construction organizations. Will support and interact with multiple TA-55 organizations involved in various construction projects within TA55 and PF-4. What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: * Extensive knowledge of construction and maintenance work planning and scheduling processes. Thorough knowledge of plant operating practices and procedures.
* Extensive understanding of work hazards, safety practices, operating configuration, and lock-out/tag-out policies and procedures.
* Demonstrated ability and experience with a computerized work management system such as Asset Suites, SAP, Maximo etc.
* Deomonstrated ability to understand and interpret various physical, mechanical, and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
* Demonstrated ability and skill in identifying problem areas, investigating alternative solutions, and determining actions to be taken on problems affecting the maintenance/construction program.
* Demonstrated ability to challenge individuals to develop skill outside of their comfort zone. Identify and develop successor to key roles; deal directly with internal discipline to resolve problems and provide solutions.
Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. Desired Qualifications: * Active Q clearance
* Current HRP certification
* Experience in LANL facility Operations, Engineering and/or Maintenance
