RRT will interview and examine patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. Patients who need assistance primarily have trouble with breathing from a chronic respiratory disease. These diseases may include Asthma or Emphysema.
Previous experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner is required for consideration due to the respiratory care modalities including oxygen therapy, humidity-aerosol therapy, and more. It is important to know how to do each task as well as be CRTT, RRT, licensed with a Current New Mexico registration.
