Robert Half is partnering with a thriving organization in the South Puget Sound to find a Human Resources Assistant. This is a temporary position, with a potential to extend or turn permanent depending on need/performance. If you are interested in this HR Assistant role, please reply with your resume to Krissy.Knutz@officeteam.com Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the HR Assistant will perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work. Duties: -Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate human resource professional. -Receives the public and answers questions, in person, by email and or by telephone -Responds to inquiries from employees, and refers to the appropriate person, official or department. -Operates office machines as required (fax, copier, scanner). -Assists in Verification of Employment Request(s) -Assists department in preparing outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail. -Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) -Assists in creating labels and or folders for new hire benefit orientations packets Assists in setting up potential employees for the pre-employment process -Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material. -Assists in maintenance of Employee Access Cards (ID cards); deactivate, activate, extend or terminate. -Maintains office supply inventory (Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies). Applicants must be available to start immediately, and be located in the South Puget Sound. If you do not qualify but are interested in other admin roles, I still want to hear from you!

Job Requirements
