This position is responsible for the review and preparation of the funding information relative to the purchase of the mortgage loan production for the Correspondent Lending channel. Compliance knowledge related to Investor requirements is an emphasis. This position has a strong production component with an emphasis on customer service quality that is required to guarantee success. The ability to work well under pressure within limited timeframes to meet service level expectations is required. This position is critical to the mission of the bank’s Mortgage Fulfillment Operation with a total planned production level for the year 2015 averaging 9000 monthly units.

  • Complete the data input required for funding, review data elements of the loan, and review investor requirements.

  • Problem solving on issues or errors found in pre funding review.

  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Completes all required compliance training.  Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar’s internal compliance policies and procedures.  Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required.
  • 1 year Accounting or Office experience.
  • Mortgage Fulfillment background in the closing and or funding areas helpful.
  • Excellent keystroke and data entry skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Quality is first.
  • Ability to meet daily goals.
  • Strong computer skills relative to data input. 
  • The ability to work in a production environment.
  • Drive to deliver excellent customer service is a key component.
