Job Description

Trust Administration Team Leader

Basic Function: Administer trust accounts and assist in the advancement of the trust department and the development of trust business.

Responsibilities: Coordinate the activities of other trust administrators by assigning new accounts and providing training, guidance, and advice on problems that arise in their designated accounts. Manager very large and complex accounts, ensuring that the wishes and instructions of principles, donors, and decedents are carried out; resolve problems brought on by beneficiaries and others; and provide customers with information regarding investment management, statements of accounts, taxes, and remittances. Participate in departmental administration by recommending changes in procedures and policies. Represent the trust administration at meetings of investment groups and those related to the trust department. This position requires the ability to maintain contact and communication with clients when administering their accounts. Continuous relations with beneficiaries and attorneys through personal meetings and verbal and written correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.

Seven years trust administration experience. Knowledge of PC software programs and applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal ability. Knowledge of tax laws.
