This is a temporary position and is expected to last approximately 3-6 months.

The Payroll Processing Coordinator will process payroll for several of the Navient companies.  The incumbent will do batch processing for commissions, bonuses and contest cash payouts.  The incumbent processes manual checks as needed for terminations and VPO’s (immediate / set time period of payments in CA, NV and TX) and they also process manual checks to correct errors received. Audits and reviews the payrolls and prepares a gross to net on each payroll company.  Payroll Accountants relies on the incumbent to assist with clearing of reconciling items in the general ledger.  They provide customer service and support to all Navient companies on payroll related issues.  The following miscellaneous process are on an as needed basis (most every pay period):  garnishments, employment verifications, keying of general deductions (united way, PAC).  WD HR, Pay Force and excel are necessary.  Will assist with the e-mail Payroll Helpdesk.   Ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment and have a solid working knowledge of payroll and state and federal law.  Excellent communication, analysis, and organization skills are required.  The incumbent will need to be comfortable with multiple projects and varying deadlines.
