We are actively looking for a Senior-Level Electrical Engineer to join our Seattle or Federal Way office
 The responsibilities of this position include working with new technologies and developing industries from microgrids to projects in the offshore wind
 Preparing multiple or complex plans, designs and plan production for general electrical engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and different project specifications. Moffatt & Nichol is a global infrastructure advisory firm with 40+ offices in 9 countries

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; requiredMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering; preferredProfessional Engineer License (PE) in Electrical Engineering; required10+ years of related experience in: requiredMedium/low voltage power distribution systemsGrounding systemsLighting systemsCommunications systemsElectrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)Selective coordination and arc flash studiesWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit; requiredProficiency in ETAP or EasyPower and AGI32; preferredAll new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171Base Salary Range:$147,500 to $181,000 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the Washington market.Physical requirements: Majority of work is office based
Some site visits to meet with clients, sub consultants, utilities, and other parties to investigate site conditions and meet project requirements
