GC/MS Chemist

Laboratory has an opening for experienced (1+years) GC/MS chemists for its Volatile Department to assist with and perform a variety of tests in accordance with established procedures.
Required Education, Skills & Experiences:
*Science degree is preferred.
*Must have experience as a GC/MS or GC Analyst in an environmental lab setting
*Must be familiar with EPA 600 and SW 846 Standard Methods.
*Attention to detail and time management a must.
*Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem solving skills.
*Must be computer proficient.
*Ability to read and interpret technical procedures.
*Capable of working independently & as a team player.
*Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
*Preferably science discipline
*Ability to communicate, speak, and write effectively in English.
*Computer skills.
*Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
*Strong attention to details.
*Excellent problem-solving skills.
*Ability to proactively identify potential problems and offer solutions.
*Capability to work independently & as a team player.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and high level of integrity.
*Excellent attendance to perform duties.
Laboratory experience is preferred
