Endo Charge Nurse (29994-147)

United Surgical Partners International Cape Coral, FL Full-Time
Position Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising the clinical staff such as, nurses, cna's, and endo techs.

2. Communicate daily changes to the staff and provider schedule through daily huddles.

3. Establish a good work relationship with the Materials Manager, including oversight of supplies and medications to ensure center is stocked for procedures.

4. Participates in Patient Experience team meetings.

5. Infection Control: ie. Channel checks, monthly safety rounds, infection control reports.

6. Oversee new hire orientation and training (preceptorship).

7. Provide input for annual staff performance evaluations, including the staff competencies are completed.

8. Assist with Quarterly Quality meetings.

9. Collect and review all clinical logs to ensure compliance. Ie. Refrigerator, scope logs, crash cart, etc

10. Perform monthly chart audits.

11. Assist administrator with review of annual plans and setting goals for following year. (Infection Control, Risk Management, and Quality improvement plan.)

12. Participate in USPI clinical calls.

Required Skills

Qualifications

* Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
* Florida Nursing License
* BLS and ACLS required
* Independent decision making skills.
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
* Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.
