Marketing and Communications Lead - GHD Digital (North America)
GHD Digital builds on the GHD network of more than 10,000 people to help companies across the global markets of water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings, and transportation unlock the potential of digital technologies to generate value for their businesses.
Due to rapid business growth, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Market Development Leader and the Marketing and Communications Manager, this role will be an integral part of the global marketing team for the GHD Digital business, and help to enhance the GHD Digital brand and accelerate business growth in North America.
The strategist-doer will touch all marketing disciplines and must be a collaborator who can self-impose deadlines, effectively manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and enjoys working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies.
Role Purpose
The Marketing and Communications Lead will help to drive the performance of marketing campaigns and support the development of marketing and business development initiatives. Overall goals are to drive programs that greatly increase GHD Digital brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Oversee and execute the implementation of the GHD Digital marketing and communications plan
•         Execute marketing and communication campaigns (across all platforms) to support GHD Digital’s North America business
•         Execute lead generation campaigns (outreach, management)
•         Work with GHD Digital Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and maintain a portfolio of integrated marketing materials, including capability statements, case studies and other reference material, ensuring outputs are in line with key messages, branding and writing style guides
•         Work with GHD North America Marketing & Communications Manager to ensure consistency with regional brand imperatives and marketing activities
•         Implement tactics to grow a thought leadership program including researching industry themes and trends for topic generation
•         Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop a bank of thought leadership content
•         Coordinate content for all internal communication channels, including submitting inputs for inclusion in global communication campaigns and initiatives
•         Coordinate and manage involvement in key industry organizations, conferences and events
•         Coordinate media activities including development of appropriate material for all types of media
•         Report and provide insight on the outcomes of campaigns and key initiatives
•         Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders as required
•         Liaise with external suppliers including copywriters, videographers and printers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

•         Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, media or relevant field of study
•         A minimum of 6 years’ marketing experience in a fast paced environment
•         Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
•         Demonstrated writing, editing, and proof-reading skills with a flair for graphics
•         Demonstrated ability to proactively manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
•         Ability to develop strong working relationships with geographically dispersed stakeholders
•         Highly organised with attention to detail
•         A wide degree of creativity with a willingness to contribute new ideas
•         Working knowledge of digital channels and platforms
•         Ability to work seamlessly with all office locations and all personnel levels in the organization

•         Successful implementation of marketing and communications strategies
•         Meeting established deadlines for marketing initiatives
•         Increased market awareness of the GHD Digital brand and sub-brands
•         Opportunities generated through marketing and business development activities
•         Positive feedback from senior personnel.
