An exciting new opportunity for an experienced RN nurse leader located in north-central Nevada. A critical access hospital is seeking a full-time, NV-licensed RN for a Surgical Services Assistant Coordinator opportunity.
Located on I-80 in north-central Nevada, the Surgical Services Assistant Coordinator will have the chance to work in a highly respected, fully-accredited, modern facility. The Surgical Services Assistant Coordinator will show high level of nursing knowledge based on evidence-based practices, be self-motivated and strong communication skills. Additionally, they will work cohesively with hospital physicians, nurse directors, nurse managers and licensed RN’s.
Reporting to the Manager, this self-motivated individual will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for the patient directly and indirectly and will assume shift responsibility and accountability. The Surgical Services Assistant Coordinator will rely on nursing experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals for the Surgery Department. They will help facilitate a strong nursing team to help meet health care outcomes, in accordance with the hospital’s vision, mission and goals. The RN Nursing Coordinator for Surgical Services will also be able to assume responsibility and leadership in case the manager is not around. Additionally, the Surgical Services Assistant Coordinator will be a leader and mentor to the nursing team.
The Surgical Services Assistant Coordinator will strive to further their nursing knowledge by attending performance improvement evaluations, receiving additional training, and succeeding in getting proper certifications, including: CNOR, BLS, ALCS, CNRFA, CSSM.
