Job Title: Due Diligence Specialist - Export
Work Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (Remote)
Contract Duration: 6-12 months
Job Description:
- Use your critical thinking skills to conduct research and complete customer and end user due diligence record profiles
- Perform internet searches, and use internal and publicly available information to review and record a wide variety of information to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Escalate transactions and reviews to internal stakeholders based on specified criteria
- Maintain records in accordance with Government and client's record retention policies as specified
- Generate metrics for reporting within the department and to management
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an office environment.
- Candidates with Trade Compliance, Finance, Research, Commercial or Operations experience is a plus
Experience
- Demonstrated skills and experience documenting data
- Experience with internal and external audit processes considered a plus
- Working knowledge of international business practices and trade compliance regulations a plus
- Experience dealing with Government Agency compliance a bonus
- Knowledge of BIS or OFAC regulations including EAR, ECCN's, SNAP-R Export License applications an advantage
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
- Knowledge of ERP and Customer Resource Management systems useful (QAD and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- A commitment to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Attendance and accountability are a critical function of this position
