Packaging Designer job in New York at The Fesco Group

A well-established consumer electronics company is looking for a creative Consumer Goods Packaging Designer who is passionate about their craft and has a positive and inspiring personality that brings in fresh sources of creativity, enhancing an already talented and solid team.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with packaging, production, and print with the following basic qualifications:

• An impeccable eye for detail and common sense to following directions
• Ability to easily switch between conceptual/commercial design and vice-versa
• Willingness to learn and master packaging production
• Ability to ensure deliverables meet budget and time commitments without compromising design excellence

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and diverse team with experienced and approachable leadership in a harmonious working environment. You don't need to be a superstar but must be flawless on at least 4 of the following skills required:

• Superimposing and retouching (Photoshop)
• Dieline creation (mechanical files)
• Technical illustration
• Production (print and paper)
• Layout (composing)
• 3D modeling (from planograms to product design)
• Cutting & crafting (mockups)

Compensation will be determined according to experience and skillsets. Payroll is paid at the end of each week.

The position is also open to Graphics and Industrial Designers willing to learn the art of packaging design.
