Responsible for supporting accreditation and business development, executing single educational activities, and maintaining the optumhealtheducation.com website and E-mail database.



You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.



Primary Responsibilities:


Activity Management:

  • Work with the clinical team to manage and execute web-based educational activities


  • Develop activity-specific website components


  • Create and distribute learner and marketing pieces as necessary


  • Monitor activity progress from launch to expiration

Accreditation

  • Assist team in maintaining accredited provider status by submitting annual reports and requested materials to the Joint Accreditation Committee and other entities as needed


  • Demonstrate knowledge of current accreditation regulations and practices

Site Maintenance and Analytics:

  • Update site content; including activity postings, evaluations, application for credit, and follow-up surveys


  • Ensure data collection aligns with outcomes process and accreditation requirements


  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring media performance; including site traffic


  • Monitor website activity and analytics and escalate to vendor as necessary

Database Management/Activity Marketing

  • Execute E-mail marketing efforts for educational activity campaigns


  • Research, evaluate and interpret audience response mechanisms


  • Ensure that activity prospect lists align with disease areas/target audiences


  • Assure database continues to extend reach or expand into new educational areas


  • Segment and update lists with accurate demographic data


  • Maintain and continually update automated data collection for activities


  • Ensure data collection and outcomes reporting for activities occurs in a timely manner within a central repository



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education


  • 3+ years project management experience


  • Web site development experience


  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the CME community (Continuing Medical Education)


  • Joint Accreditation experience


  • Clinical/Medical background (RN, etc.)


  • Experience developing/conducting accredited medical education or training


  • Excellent presentation skills for both clinical and non-clinical audiences


  • Strong team player and team building skills


  • Motivates and inspires other team members
