Residential Construction Project Manager - Austin, TX
Immediate opening for a residential Construction Project Manager in the Austin, TX area. This position is responsible for estimating and managing residential renovation and remodeling projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed accurate estimates for material, labor, equipment, subcontracts, construction facilities, etc.
- Develop a qualified pool of suppliers and subcontractors to bid jobs. Foster relationships with same.
- Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits, as needed.
- Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work. Accept, review, and contrast subcontractor/supplier proposals for accuracy, completeness and best overall value.
- Prepare project bid status reports and ensure compliance with all specifications and contract Statements of Work and Bid Invitations.
- Present cost estimates to meet customer proposals, providing consideration for general and special conditions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years Related Estimating Experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Basic to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
