Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Pricing Database Administrator to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Parma, OH.

Job Title:  Pricing Database Administrator
Work Location:  Parma, OH
Duration:  Long-term contract with option to hire

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Education/Experience Required:  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience


Job Description & Responsibilities :
  • Develop pricing for all services proposed by the client in the Service Delivery – Offsite MS area.
  • Through thorough analysis of the proposal components and pricing strategy provided by the design team, the Pricing Analyst – Estimator will prepare estimates in the client' ERP system resulting in margin for each component of the deal while following standardized pricing templates.
  • This position will format SOW pricing in an easy to read and understand format that aligns with the specific requirements of the customer.
  • They will also help drive strategies within the department to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team particularly focusing on managing and aligning contract terms with pricing.
  • Responsible for validation and preparation of vendor pricing data for use in updating the client's ERP system.
  • Assist in the creation of analyses to support the client's price/cost negation process with vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross functional groups to review existing processes and establish guidelines for pricing estimate procedures to align strategies with deliverables.
  • Working with both the design and project management teams, participate in contract/SOW development by creating pricing estimates in the client's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for all new projects.
  • Working with the operational teams, create pricing estimates for AD HOC work.
  • Provide analysis on deal-specific margins for new proposals and present analysis of pricing requests during approval of estimates.
  • Collect and evaluate information from multiple sources (structured & unstructured) and format for use in the client's ERP system, with great attention to detail.
  • Perform detailed analysis of vendor product attributes and pricing against the client's ERP system and provide feedback to project management team.
  • Ensure all inventory pricing is maintained with accurate and prompt updates for new and existing items.
  • Ensure all contracted customer pricing is maintained with accurate and prompt updates for new, additional services.
  • Organize and categorize proposals to create a library of estimate templates in the client's ERP system.
  • Manage and present data related to activity trends that impact current win rates, pipeline and future threats and opportunities.
  • Engage in analysis and subsequent presentation of activity and trend data to capitalize on trends and proactively meet customer demand.
  • Provide reports of estimate data as needed for win/loss analysis.
  • Identifies, suggests, and implements best practices within the department.
  • Other projects and duties as required by the department and management.

Skills & Qualifications :
  • 5+ years pricing and financial analysis experience
  • 4+ years MS Office experience
  • 3+ years ERP system experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Printing industry experience is preferable
  • Sales, customer service, and/or purchasing background is preferable
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong experience in creating new processes
  • Must have strong financial understanding
  • Must have strong computer application skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • There is not extensive lifting, standing or walking. Will be less than 50#.
  • Dress is business casual or jeans and a collared shirt.
  • Parking is free
  • COVID - As temp no covid but to become full time will need both vaccinations and boosters as required.
