Hotel Front Desk Representative

Red Hawk Casino Placerville, CA (Onsite) Full-Time
Job Responsibilities

  1. Serves as first point of contact for our guests with friendly greetings and exceptional guest service that exceeds our guests’ expectations.
  2. Registers guests, collects payment, and registers data regarding payment for expenditures.
  3. Provides quotes for guests and upsells rooms whenever possible.
  4. Performs all check-in and check-out tasks.
  5. Ensures all charges are applied to the correct guest account.
  6. Resolves all guest disputes.
  7. Answers external and internal telephone inquiries, delivers mail, and responds to inquiries regarding the casino promotions, events, restaurants, surrounding area, and attractions.
  8. Ensures all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
  9. Provides administrative and program support to management and staff.
  10. Greets all guests and ensures an exceptional customer service experience.
  11. Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
  12. Communicates with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and ready to accommodate guests' needs.
  13. Maintains a working knowledge of business objectives in order to deliver quality products and service that meets guest needs.
  14. Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner abiding by all health and safety regulations.
  15. Maintains a professional appearance and acts as a role model according to the established grooming and appearance policy.
  16. Stays informed on casino facilities, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise guests and fellow team members whenever possible.
  17. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  1. Hotel and casino industry experience preferred.
  2. Knowledge of principles and practices regarding customer service in the casino/hotel industry.
  3. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  4. Applicants should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and utilize a variety of standard computer systems/office productivity software at an intermediate or advanced level.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
