Acute Care Contracting Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Acute Care Contracting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating strategic sourcing initiatives for laboratory products, equipment, and services, as well as various non-clinical service lines as assigned. Working closely with service line directors, you will provide expert sourcing, RFP, and contracting support to help meet the needs of our clients.
To succeed in this role, the Acute Care Contracting Manager must be a self-sufficient individual with strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills, as well as excellent customer service, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to translate objectives and tasks into priority project planning, manage multiple projects, and deliver fully executed contracts.
In addition to a bachelor's degree, we are seeking Acute Care Contracting Manager candidates with a minimum of 3 years of contract negotiating experience in a hospital setting, healthcare company, healthcare IDN, or GPO. You should have demonstrated expertise in negotiating favorable terms and competitive pricing with top medical product and service suppliers, and be able to analyze and interpret product specifications, quotes, and cost estimates. Experience with formal solicitations, including bids and requests for proposals, is a plus.
