Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency based in Butler, PA, is currently recruiting for a Program Director to oversee Residential Community Homes in the South Hills of Pittsburgh (Bethel Park, Bridgeville, and Castle Shannon areas).
This position will manage approximately 6 Community Homes which provide direct care services to adults with intellectual disabilities. The Director ensures that clients receive a high level of quality care and are treated with respect and dignity. In addition, the Director will facilitate the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISP), Individual Social/Emotional/ Environmental Plans, Behavior Plans, and Restrictive Plans.
The Director is responsible for the overall development and operations of Community Homes in the assigned region, which includes the management and oversight of the Supervisory staff at the Community Homes. Directors ensure client to staff ratios are maintained at all times, work assignments are completed, and oversee staff hiring and performance reviews.
Work Schedule - Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with On-call Duties.

Qualifications:
* An Associate's Degree and 6 years of experience working directly with persons with disabilities, the elderly, or children and youth and 4 years of Supervisory experience required, OR
* A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience working directly with persons with disabilities, the elderly, or children and youth and 2 years of Supervisory experience required, OR
* A Master's Degree and 1 year of experience working directly with persons with disabilities, the elderly, or children and youth and 1 year of Supervisory experience required.
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
* Acceptable Clearances Required.
* Must become a PA Certified Investigator as certified by the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and obtain Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire.
