Ledgent is seeking an Interim Finance Director to join our Nonprofit client in the Tigard area! This is a contract role with a minimum duration of 3 months with a strong potential to go 6+ months The right candidate could be considered for the permanent position based on performance. This position is responsible for managing the global finances of the organization. 

  • Manage global finance functions in accordance with GAAP and practices appropriate in nonprofit
  • With with IT team in implementation of financial systems utilizing ERP system
  • Provide oversight of sound fiscal management practices and internal controls
  • Lead annual budgeting process
  • Provide guidance, direction and training to the accounting team
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly and year-end financials are accurate and timely
  • Lead annual audit and preparation of annual 990
  • Manage organization cash low and forecasting
  • Provide timely and accurate reports of budget to actual across departments
  • Support CFO with additional related duties and projects
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • CPA License preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
  • Experience working in a grant-funded Nonprofit or Government organization
  • Experience with ERP implementations
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
  • High level of analytical skills
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
