Job Description

The Senior Government Contracts Compliance Analyst will assist in the continued development and implementation of WSP USA’s procedures to attain compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), as well as the AASHTO Audit Guide, as they pertain to WSP USA’s portfolio of State Department of Transportation and Federal Government work.  Primary responsibilities include managing and performing the cost account reviews designed to achieve compliance with the provisions of FAR Part 31.  Analyst will aid in the development and audit of WSP USA’s annual indirect costs rates, and will provide support for Government incurred cost and other audits.   The Senior Government Contracts Compliance Analyst will work closely with Manager of Government Contracts Compliance and Accounting in achieving indirect cost rate compliance, as well as in preparing responses to resolve Government contract audit issues related to FAR and CAS matters.    Additional duties include supporting other Federal and State Government audits, and supporting other WSP USA finance and accounting projects as necessary.  These duties will require the Senior Analyst to work directly with both internal and external clients.

Job Requirements

Educational Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5 years of experience working in the accounting field, with additional experience in Federal/State Government contracts arena a plus
  • Candidate must have strong organizational and analytical skills, and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.  Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
