Our client is a small, but fast-growing manufacturer located in the Cleveland, Ohio area. They are looking to fill a newly established position- a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, to ensure the compliance of manufactured materials in regard to regulatory bodies in both the United States and Canada. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be trained to know and understand regulatory bodies and required compliance matters related to specific manufactured products. They will then review, audit, and ensure that products are complicit with laws and regulations. Additionally, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist will help create labeling for our client’s products in accordance with the law. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will learn and interpret regulations from bodies such as the FDA, EPA,GHS, and OSHA.

On the job training will be provided for this role-

EPA compliance

FDA compliance

Retail Compliance

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System

Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals

Successful candidates will have an interest in quality/compliance and desire a career in the field. Candidates should be willing to learn and grow and have the ability to absorb information then apply it in a work setting. Motivated individuals with a desire to learn will fit best in this role.

Work experience, Internships, classes, or any other experience within a manufacturing environment, or with chemicals is a plus.
