Our client is a high-tech company that specializes in designing and manufacturing hardware and software for force-acquisition. The company was founded over 30 years ago and is one of the few companies in the world competing for a specific niche of the force-acquisition market. Their work depends on multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.

Job Description:
The Quality Control Technician will conduct tests on a wide variety of products from head trackers and hand transducers, to 1,800 lb instrumented treadmills. The individual in this role will also assist the Engineering department in product development efforts. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, trustworthy individual confident in providing the crucial last step in the process before company product meets customer.

Job Duties:
-Record and evaluate data using custom computer software
-Analyze force signals, Calculate CoP (Center of Pressure)
-Conduct calibration tests to set specifications
-Operate multimeter to record voltage measurements
-Build prototypes to assist engineering department in production development
-Provide visual checks on immersive, virtual product
-Provide intelligent feedback to technicians and engineers

Job Requirements:
-2+ years in Quality Control (Must be end-of-line QC), responsible for measuring overall aspects of the product.
-2-year Technical degree, coursework, or comparable experience
-Vast computer knowledge and understanding of technology
-Ability to read wire schematics and prints
-High attention to detail
-Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly as well as 60-80 lbs 2-person lifts
-Mechanical aptitude needed to scrutinize build of large-scale devices (assembly, use of hand tools)
-Strong math, graph-reading, and troubleshooting skills
-Interpersonal communication skills
-Previous work with electronic amplifiers
-Previous experience operating floor crane and ability to sling a load
-Self-managed, autonomous work ethic
