Ryder is hiring immediately for Case Pickers in Kalamazoo, MI!

The Case Picker is responsible to efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
About the position:
+ Consistent pay:$20.00 hourly w/ additional premium pay on Saturdays and Sundays of up to $4.00 an hour
+ Schedule:6:00 am to 2:30 pm 5 days a week or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm 4 Days a week - Flexible days! Must work one weekend day each week or both.
+ Requirements:
+ Continuous lifting of 6-14lbs
+ Looking for career driven candidates
+ Overtime available
+ Prior Warehouse experience is a plus not required - Willing to Train!
+ Must have a good attitude - good work history- and work ethic!
+ Other requirements:Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

**Requirements**
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
+ Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
+ Must have adequate math skills
+ Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
+ Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
+ Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
+ Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
**Responsibilities**
+ Picking product and case pick.
+ Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
+ Safely operate material handling equipment.
+ Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
+ Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
**Additional Responsibilities**
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
