Software Implementation Project Manager I (SMS)

HSI, Inc. Work From Home, GA (On Site) Full-Time

The Safety Management System (SMS) Implementation Project Manager will have responsibility for implementing new customers of varying size and complexity with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. This role requires strong execution and analytical abilities along with working independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this customer-facing position. 

What you will do: 

  • Manage and support SMS implementations for new customers
  • Learn the SMS, achieving a proficiency level that enables successful implementations
  • Determine the most effective way to configure a customer’s setup to meet their needs
  • Perform module builds and related tasks as necessary
  • Oversee accurate, timely, and successful achievement of milestones through the entire implementation cycle  
  • Work with internal teams to facilitate system integrations and other implementation-related tasks
  • Provide a clean and thorough hand-off following implementation with the assigned Customer Success Manager 
  • Positively interact with clients to achieve successful implementations  
  • Document all activities in the Customer Relationship Management program and other relevant systems
  • Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical support issues escalated from other support teams

What you bring to the table:

  • BA/BS degree highly preferred
  • 4+ years of customer service or project management experience
  • Experience in a highly-technical position or demonstrated technological aptitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Past experience in a customer facing support role
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, especially Excel; experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce.com) a plus
