CareStaff Partners is seeking an experienced School Psychologist through the end of the school year at a School District in Boston, MA.

Job Duties and Role Responsibilities:

As a School Psychologist you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to improve classroom management strategies and/or parenting skills; address mental health issues; assess, identify and work with students with disabilities. Other job duties for a School Psychologist may include:

• Listen to concerns about academic, emotional or social problems
• Help students process their problems and plan goals and action
• Promote positive behaviors
• Meet with parents and teachers to discuss learning, behavioral, familial and social problems
• Study and implement behavioral management techniques
• Research and implement learning programs
• Evaluate and advise school disciplinary practices for troubled students
• Participate in special education by administering psychological tests
• Providing health advice to school educational teams, such as the Committee on Special Education and the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) team
