Create a strategic and operational partnership between Human Resources and leaders within Information Technology (IT) through excellent service and proactive consultation, support, education and creative problem solving. Build and sustain through example, a supportive, open and empowered culture that supports Information Technology’s transformation and alignment to WellStar’s strategic priorities and WellStar’s Employer of Choice strategy.
Lead Human Resources function at operational level for IT. Partner with IT leadership to create a positive work environment to improve Trust, employee engagement, and Joy in the workplace. Lead HR investigations facilitate follow up and provide resolutions. Collaborate with HR partners in Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Compensation, Organizational Learning etc to support and execute IT initiatives. Identify opportunities for leadership development. Implement, educate and communicate HR Policies, Procedures and Programs. Contribute to the achievement of results through outstanding HR leadership and effective relationships.
Required Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Preferred Licensure/Certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM SCP preferred
Required Minimum Experience: Five (5) years strong human resource experience in all functional areas of Human Resource. (preferably in a healthcare or IT setting). Must have worked in Human Resources supporting IT services.
Required Minimum Skills: Must have exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and interviewing skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and maintain excellent customer service. Must be familiar with employment law, recruiting, performance review programs, and progressive counseling. Must be able to handle matters in discrete and confidential manner. Must be able to maintain quality documentation of all consulting procedures.
