IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing remote, in-person, and telephone customer support for a wide range of IT related issues across the organization.Responsibilities:* Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.* Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.* Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.* Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software when needed. * Provide support for our Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. * Calls software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.* Trains users on software and hardware use as needed.* Microsoft updates and application patching.* Provides first and second level technical support to users, may include low-to-mid level network and systems administration functions.* Tracks issues to resolution, creates good technical documentation and updates the internal knowledgebase.* Maintains list of IT inventory equipment and supplies, including ink cartridges, toner, and other regularly used supplies.* Under general supervision, exercises judgment and decision making in the diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware and software problems.* Actively report I.T. security risks and work in good faith to protect company assets.* Follows procedures to install, upgrade, configure, and maintain network devices, network printing, directory structures, rights, user environment, software, file services and related security issues.* Facilitates IT purchase order process from creation to completion, as needed.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in CS/IT.* At least 1 year of relevant experiences.* Advanced knowledge of Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2012-2018.***When submitting a resume for this position, I understand that this information may be used to create a registration with the Georgia Department of Labor on Employ Georgia.***
